Smog has been one of the greatest problems that we are encountering in Delhi and NCR. Not just Delhi NCR but the whole of North India is under severe pollution these days but in Delhi, the situation is worst. People have not seen the sun just because there are pollution clouds everywhere.
The problem of Smog appears in the month of October and lasts till Mid November but the after effects last till February. Even our Supreme Court has admitted that 8 people die daily due to pollution in Delhi, but the Delhi Government is still unmoved.
When Kejriwal knew that every year farmers burn stubble in October then why didn’t he take necessary actions earlier? He waited till the Smog to appear, news to flash and then he said he would want to meet Haryana and Punjab Chief Ministers in this regards.
Kejriwal wrote a letter each to Punjab and Haryana Chief Ministers. In the letters, Kejriwal has written that “Delhi has become fire chamber because of the pollution caused by Stubble burning in Haryana and Punjab. The Situation is alarming and Delhi is suffering because of two neighboring states.”
The letters were received by the Chief Ministers of both the states and Haryana CM was quick to respond to it. Haryana CM wrote a letter in response to Kejriwal and in that letter he wrote:
