Gurmehar Kaur was the latest sensation after Kanhaiya Kumar. The left brigade has been promoting Gurmehar Kaur and fighting ABVP and the other right wingers.
Yes, We are talking about the very same Gurmehar Kaur who was holding a placard in a picture on Facebook. The Placard had written all the filth against ABVP during Ramjas incident. The placard read, “The brutal attack on innocent students by ABVP is very disturbing and should be stopped. It was not an attack on protesters, but an attack on every notion of democracy that is held dear in every Indian’s heart. It is an attack on ideals, morals, freedom and rights of every person born to this nation. The stones that you pelt hit our bodies, but fail to bruise our ideas.”
As claimed by Gurmehar Kaur, she is the daughter of Martyr Capt. Mandeep Singh. According to her Martyr Captain got Martyrdom in Kargil War. But then the expose came that her father got Martyrdom in a terrorist attack and not in Kargil War.
Meanwhile, during that placard incident, Gurmehar Kaur was trolled by the right wingers. She even alleged that Right Wingers have given her rape threats. But all these allegations remained allegations and nothing considerable came out of these allegations.
Then Gurmehar Kaur left Delhi and she wrote on twitter ““I would be grateful if I were just left alone because neither my family nor I want to talk about it,”
Yesterday, Gurmehar Kaur wrote a blog. The blog titled ‘I AM”
The blog looked like full of narcism. Even it is titled such. The blog began with some questions:
“Am I who trolls think I am?”
“Am I what media portrayed me as?”
“Am I what celebrities think I am?”
She further said, ““I am my father’s daughter. I’m my Papa’s Gulgul. I am his doll.” Here she tried to take a dig at the media headlines.
Then she thought of giving an answer to all the people who asked questions from her and called her anti-national
“I’m an idealist. An athlete. A peacenik. I’m not your angry, vindictive war mongering bechari, you hope me to be. I don’t want war because I know its price; it’s very expensive.”
And in the end she wrote:
“My father is a martyr. I’m his daughter.
I am not your “Martyr’s Daughter.”
So, what she basically meant when she wrote, “I am not your martyr’s daughter.” ?
Do we both have different Martyrs? One Martyr wants war other Martyr wants peace? Do we have any classification of Martyrs? Why are you dividing even Martyrs?
